With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva L. Carr of Macon, Missouri, born in Edina, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Osbourne and Shelda VaLee Gentry (Gregory); her sisters, Donna Faye Gentry and Ina Sue Greenstreet; her in-laws, Junior and Edith Carr; her brothers-in-law, Bobby Greenstreet and Jack Patton; her son-in-law Rick Robison; and her close friend Rayma Jenkins.
She is survived by: her husband Jerold Carr of Macon, MO.; her daughters, Sherri Mesecher of Macon, MO and Sheila Jones (Michael) of Bevier, MO; her grandchildren, Kyle Licht (Jenni Grinder) of Macon, MO, Tabitha Jenkins (Joseph) of Moberly, MO, Zachary Yount (Brooke Mullen-Soper) of Columbia, MO, Jay Mesecher (Courtney Dodd) of Shelbyville, MO and Colton Yount (Ansley Boyd) of Maine; her sisters, Beverly Flint of Nevada and Barbara Thompson (Neal) of LaPlata, MO; her brother-in-law Gene Carr (Linda) of Maryland; and her pets, Pooh, Baisley, Ozzie, Lit and Aries. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
