We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2019, at the age of 96, Gertrude C. Scurlock (Macon, Missouri), born in Wisner, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James O. Sparks and Vera Gertrude Sparks (Wooten); her husband William D. Scurlock; and her siblings, Jimmie Carlene Thomlinson, Joy Foster, Betty Boaz, Ed Sparks and Jessie Sparks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Tapp of Macon and Pat Maloney (Greg) of Kirksville, MO; her grandchildren, Troy Tapp (Sydney), John Matthew Tapp, Scott Maloney (Jill) and B. J. Maloney (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Tapp, Jessica Tapp, Trinity Tapp, Austin Tapp, Abby Maloney, Ashton Maloney, Brenner Maloney, Cade Maloney and Teagan Maloney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.
