He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Tate and Mildred Tate (Ruch); and his sister Betty Jones. He is survived by: his former wife Ella Mae Roebuck; his wife Ella Mae Tate; his sons, Rick Tate (Brenda) of Bevier, MO and Terry Tate (Deandra) of Liberty, MO; his grandchildren, Angie Taylor of Bevier, MO, Ryan Tate (Elizabeth) of Boonville, MO, Jeremy Tate (Jennifer) of Lees Summit, MO and Chandler Tate (Kyriana) of Kansas City, MO; and his great grandchildren, McKenzey, Zoie, Grayson, Haden, Bryn and Nolan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.
