George Stanley Carter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Stanley Carter of Macon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carter and Marie Carter (Reynolds); his sister Carol Carter; his grandson Logan Sullivan; and his son-in-law Danny Sullivan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Inskip (Dean) of Ashland, MO, Mary Lou Fisher (Chuck) of Macon, MO and Georgie Sullivan of Macon, MO; his grandchildren, Eric Inskip (Christy), Nathan Fisher (Jennifer), Sammie Richardson, Ami Hayse (Shaun), Nikki Witt (Jeremy), Garret Sullivan (Dari), Tony Fisher and Andrea Maloney (Eric); and his siblings, Janet Lafferty (Tom) and Bill Carter (Janie). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Methodist Church (36755 State Hwy PP, Macon, MO 63552). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for expenses.
