It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Louise Gessner of Macon, Missouri, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Violet Simpson; her husband Verle Gessner; her children, Orlan Walter and Elaine Craigg; and her siblings, Jack, Daniel, David, Jim, Hermann, Alletta and Grace.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Cross-Perkins of Macon, MO; and her grandchildren, Brenda Harris, Frank Cross, Tabitha Craigg, Tracey Walter, Robert Craigg, Jr. and Greta Howard-Clark. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Macon Health Care Center Activities Department.
