He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burnett and Mary Susan Burnett (Fisher); his wife Frances Elizabeth Burnett; his son David Earl Burnett; his siblings, Irene Whitehead, Ira Burnett, Mary Schwada, Maxine Cockrum, Norma Kline, Norman Burnett and Paul Burnett; and his niece Carolyn Whitehead.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marilyn Bunton (Gladhill) of Rockford, IL and Kenneth Gladhill of Macon, MO; his grandchildren, Stacey and Chris; his sister Viola Barron of St. Louis, MO; his niece Gloria Kemp of St. Louis, MO; and his nephew Kevin Whitehead of Idaho. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and special friends.
