With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy I. Burton of Macon, Missouri, born in Elmer, Missouri, who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Kellam and Jennie Kellam (Shoop); her daughters, Cinda Burton of Macon, Missouri and Charlotte Moore of Macon, Missouri; her granddaughters, Melissa (Travis Cook) and Janessa (Austin Gaughan); her great grandchildren, Nolan of Columbia, Missouri, Colin Cook of Columbia, Missouri, Nora of Columbia, Missouri and Maggie Gaughan of Columbia, Missouri; her nephew Lloyd Demory of LaPlata; her great-niece Dana Demory Ruble; her niece Betty Cook; her great-nieces, Pam Gierich and Patti Bailey; her husband Robert "Bob" Burton; and her siblings, Hazel Faulkner, Jake Demory, Floyd (Zelma Kellam) and Opal (Everett Dennis). She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
