He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester R. Dudley and Lucille Marie Dudley; his daughter Penny Elise Minter (Hicks); his brothers, William Dudley and Charles Hicks; and his great grandchild Glorianna Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Manning; his children, Lilla M. (Eddie J. Engle), Diana M. Hicks (Millard Tolson), Donna L. (Daniel Dawson), Candy Charlene Hicks, Marella D. Hicks of Columbia and Theron Harris (Teresa); his son-in-law Edward Minter of Macon; and his brother Larry R. Hicks (Gail) of Merrillville, IN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests those attending to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home (301 N. Rubey St, Macon, MO 63552) for funeral expenses.
