He was predeceased by: his parents, James Archie and Opal McNary (Armstrong); his wife Elaine McNary; his son Robbie Dean McNary; his sisters, Bernadine Ritter and Bernice Schumate; and his stepbrother Gary Houghton.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Ann Schultz (Tim) of Montana; his partner Jerrylee Beeler of Macon; his partner's children, Dena Buckallew of Macon, Sonny Price of Richland and Mike Price of McPherson; his siblings, Beatrice Fugate of Downing, Barbara Ross of Lancaster, Betty Jo Purvis (Rick) of Sedalia, Missouri and Jimmy D. McNary (Ina Mae) of Lancaster, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Annette McNary of Lewistown, Montana; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials have been established for the American Heart Association.
