She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bozwell and Susan Rebecca Bozwell (Spencer); and her husband Raymond L. Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Akins (John) of Ethel, MO; her grandchildren, Rebecca Karney of Chillicothe, MO and Stephen Akins (Susan) of Marceline, MO; her great grandchildren, Scott Karney of Macon and Aaliyah Goulding of Marceline; and her great great grandchildren, Delilah and KinsLee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
