She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lampkin and Viola Lampkin (Frazier); her husband Robert; her children, Paul Morton and Peggy Douglas; her siblings, Johnny Lampkin, Billy Lampkin, Sam Lampkin, Marjorie Head and Mary Grant; her grandson Shannon Walker; and her sisters-in-law, Joeann Lampkin and Darlene Lampkin.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Vaughn of Macon, MO, Cecil Morton of St. Louis, MO, Charlene Troy of Macon, MO, Robert Morton Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Roger Morton of Macon, MO and Nancy Morton of Macon, MO; and her grandson Derrick Morton of Columbia, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Bethel AME Church of Macon.
