He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethan Morris and Pearl Morris; his daughters, Betty Ann Morris and Marilyn Jo Morris; his siblings, Kenneth Ross Morris, Ralph Franklin Morris, Carl Lee Morris and Gertrude Mendenhall; and his grandson Michael Simmons.

He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Steven Glenn Morris of Springfield, Missouri and Diana Kay Simmons of Springfield, Missouri; his granddaughters, Laurita Simmons, Christina and Dean Bell; his great grandchildren, Brooke Simmons, Rachel Bell, Leann Bell, Sophia Simmons, Savannah Simmons and Tiara Simmons; his siblings, Thomas Ray Morris (Linnie) of Pleasant Hope and Joyce Kennedy (Joe) of Laquey, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Betty Morris of Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
