He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Evermont Cope and Dorothy Cope (Jurgensmeyer); and his siblings, Kip Cope and Virginia Spalding. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cope; his daughters, Mary Whitman (Cash) of Lake Ozark, MO, Dee Zawislak (Michael Atkinson) of Lake Ozark, MO and Kelly Bryner (Ken) of Lake Ozark, MO; his grandchildren, Bobbie Grant (Justyn), Cassius Whitman, Wyatt Whitman, Grace Faulkner and Avery Faulkner; his great grandchildren, Jarin Grant and Jayleigh Grant; his stepgrandchildren, Austin Atkinson, Ashleigh Bryner, Austin Bryner and Alyea Bryner; and his stepgreat-grandchild Raeleigh Bryner-Strong.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in his name to the Dogwood Animal Shelter 1075 Runabout Dr. Osage Beach, MO 65065.
