She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Jorgensen; her husband Pete Mehl; and her granddaughter Krisi Whitworth. She is survived by: her children, William Sorensen (Joy) of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, Barbara Whitworth of Macks Creek and Susan Newland of Springfield, Missouri; and her stepchildren, Rusty Mehl of Camdenton, Jan Rothove (Jerry) of Camdenton and Tracy Payne of Camdenton, Missouri. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and fifty great-grandchildren; one niece and two nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations are suggested to American Heart Association, or Dogwood Animal Shelter.
