She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Robert and Mary Dawson (Walton); her son Lloyd Chester Young; and her brothers, Carl Dawson, Glen Dawson, Bill Dawson and Gene Dawson.
She is survived by: her husband Von Duane Young Sr.; her children, Von D. Young Jr. (Diane) of Macks Creek, James Young (Mary Kay) of Belton, Charles E. Young (Karen) of Independence and Janie Tesch of Osage Beach, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Coleen Young of Camdenton, Missouri; and her sister Glessie Ray (Bernie) of Lone Jack, Missouri. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lamb House in Camdenton, Missouri.
