She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Golston and Sybil Golston; and her sister Dolores Gagnier. She is survived by: her children, Christina Smothers of Preston, Christopher Smothers (Cindy) of Sedalia, Constance Thompson of Camdenton, Cara Canon (Jeff) of Sedalia, Rodney Smothers (Larissa) of Macks Creek and Renee Powell (Chris) of Lake Village, Arkansas; and her siblings, Ward Golston of Sedalia, Jerry Golston (Verla) of Irving, Gary Golston (JoAnn) of Lebanon, Missouri, Evelyn Golston of Bolivar, Brenda Atkins (Doral) of Birmingham, Beverly Bonner (Henry) of Bolivar, Glatha Hopper of Preston and Cynthia Sampson (Ray) of Ozark, Missouri. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
