He is survived by: his wife Dianna Sternberg; his children, Stephanie Branstetter (John) of Grovesprings, Paul Edward Sternberg III (Honey) of Montello, WI and Shannon Lewis (Misty) of Falcon; his grandchildren, Andrew Patrick, Paul Edward Sternberg IV, Jonathon Branstetter, Landon Branstetter, Dustin Branstetter, Haylee Ronan (Weston), Olivia Sternberg, Hannah Sternberg, Rebekah Sternberg and Angelea Branstetter; his great grandchildren, Emerson and Wren; his siblings, Arnold Sternberg (Jeanine), Michael Sternberg (Candy), Dennis Sternberg (Mary) and Patty Sternberg (Kenny); and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Willis and Deborah Adams (Ed). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
