He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Duncan and Alice Duncan (Kober); his wife Bertha Faye Thomas; and his brothers, Charles D. and Robert F. Duncan.

He is survived by: his sister Victoria Harris of Lansing, Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
