It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Spurgeon of Lowry City, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger L. Spurgeon and Margaret Ann Spurgeon (Allen); his wife Jennifer Alkire; his grandparents, John William Spurgeon, Dorothy and Phil Allen; his sons, William Joseph Spurgeon of Centerview, Missouri. and Wesley Daniel Spurgeon of Centerview, Missouri.; his stepmother Delisa Spurgeon of Lowry City; his sister Jessica Lee Hughes of Lone Jack; his grandmother Rachel Spurgeon of Kingsville; his aunt Pam Causey; and his uncle Steve Spurgeon of Kingsville, Missouri..

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Elm Spring Baptist Cemetery in care of the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home.
