It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Rice of Lowry City, Missouri, born in Athol, Kansas, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Rice and Grace Rice; his wife Bette Rice; his children, Chris Rice (Sidney) of Schererville and Lea Ann Sprague of Leawood, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Daniel Rice (Lauren), Mary Lea Walston (Casey), Max Sprague, Harrison Rice, Elliott Rice and Garrett Sprague; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, William Rice, Caroline, Ruby and Katherine Walston. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lowry City Boy Scout Troop 437, c/o Hurley Mahan, 2980 NE Highway A, Lowry City, MO 64763.
