He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman O. Auwarter and Anna Mae Wright Auwarter; and his siblings, Jack Auwarter, Billy Auwarter, Vernadine Wabel, Norma Whitesell and Doris Moffit.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Auwarter; his children, Kimberly Ann Roesch (Roy) of St. Louis, MO and Mark Scott Auwarter of Lake; his grandchildren, Bryce Bradley Sparks (Paige), Molly Judith Sparks, Haley E. Walker (Kenny) and Anna Elaine Auwarter; his great grandchildren, Rory Nichole Sparks and Emma Elaine Walker; and his stepsons, John Sisson and Stephen Sisson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
