He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chatman and Dorothy Mitchell Chatman; and his sister Charlotte McQuay. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Chatman, Charlie Chatman of Elsberry, MO and Samantha Chatman of Elsberry, MO; his siblings, Darrell Chatman (Virginia) of Louisiana, MO, Kevin Chatman (Melanie) of Davenport and Connie Chatman of Louisiana, MO; his uncles, Howard Chatman, Sam Chatman and Roger Chatman; and his aunt Mary Chatman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Collier Funeral Home for the family.
