It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Guthrie of Louisiana, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James C. Guthrie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Jim; his grandparents, Ruth and Coleman Lonergan; his brother-in-law Jim Dillender; and his cousin Rodney Branham.
He is survived by: his mother Ruby Lonergan Guthrie; his children, Suzanne Howland (Richard) of Louisiana, Jennifer Asquith (Jason) of Louisiana, Brian Guthrie of Louisiana and Daniel Guthrie of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Mason Howland, Olivia, Greyson, Wren Asquith, Zoey, Maximus Guthrie, Aurora Gentile, Jayce Gentile, Kamila Bowman and Kaia McCormick; his partner's children, Samantha, Sean Gentile and Emily Bowman; his sister Ellen Dillender of Bowling Green; and his aunt Frankie Whitten of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Collier Funeral Homes, Inc. (117 Barnard Dr, Louisiana, MO 63353). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Recreation Association or Louisiana Alumni and Friends Association.
