She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth M. Skinner and Roy G. Julow, Sr.; her husband John Gillis; her brother Roy G. Julow, Jr.; and her cousin John Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Gillis Sims (Brent) of Hannibal, MO, Bradley Gillis of Alton, IL and Pamela Gillis of Moberly, MO.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Gillis Sparling (Chris), Lisa Campbell Ledbetter (Brandon), Brian Campbell (Shelbie), Christine Colter (Cameron), Jessica Gillis Coombs (Chad), Emily Ryan and Katelyn Bristow; and her nephews, Michael William Julow, Gregory Roy Julow and Christopher Bruce Julow.
Memorials may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice, Calvary Episcopal Church, or the donor's choice.
