He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie G. Hawkins and Frances R. Jackson Hawkins; his son Dustin Hawkins; his sisters, Becky Crim and Lynn Shireman; and his brother-in-law Gary Shireman.
He is survived by: his sons, Danel Hawkins (Heather) of Curryville, MO and Duane Hawkins (Alicia Rennecker) of Barry, IL; and his grandchildren, Bryanna Hawkins, Madyson Hawkins, Annie Utterback, Allison Hawkins, Remington Hawkins, Kaycen Hawkins, Nova Velasco, Alecia Hawkins, Layne Hawkins, Jeremiah Hawkins, Delilah Hawkins and Kinzlee Hawkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Collier Funeral Homes, Inc. (117 Barnard Dr, Louisiana, MO 63353). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Mark Twain Lake Forest Council to be used for youth hunting and fishing programs.
