He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Charlton and Minnie Degerlia Charlton; his siblings, Geneva Charlton, Betty Grote, Charlie, Steve and Gene Charlton; and his son Charles Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Charlton; his daughter-in-law Janet Francis of Frankford, MO; his grandchildren, Tina Lamasney of Bowling Green, MO, Dewayne Francis of Louisiana, MO and Cindy Orf (Jason) of Frankford, MO.; his great grandchildren, Clinton (Brittany), Travis (Jessica), Caitie (Levi), Vanessa, Hunter, Emalee, Rylee and Jayce; his great great grandchildren, Rema, Raymond, Kai and Elliana; and his niece Kathy Harrison. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
