He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Meyers and Helen Griffith Meyers; his brothers-in-law, Garland Henderson, Gene Campbell and Phillip Ruyle; and his nephew Jarad Arnold.
He is survived by: his close friend Bonna Burns; his son Dale Meyers, Jr. of Hannibal, MO; his grandson Johnnie Meyers; his siblings, David Meyers (Sharron) of Clarksville, MO, Nancy Campbell of Madison, MO, Margaret Ruyle of Louisiana, MO and Alice Henderson of Louisiana, MO; his nieces, Heather Meyers, Lori Burbridge (Steve), Dawn Arnold (Franklin) and Laura Wilmer (Rick); his nephew Wesley Henderson (Nancy); and his stepchildren, Russell Lamberson (Theresa), Ira "Bill" Cox (Wanda), Lois Bolton, Becky Beisner (Russ) and Kathy Pearl (Bruce). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other nieces and nephews.
