He was predeceased by: his father Clarence "Socko" Brown; and his brother Jefferson Brown. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his mother Dorothy Jane Brown-Murray (Murray); his stepfather John Murray; his children, Hunter Brown (Kaitlyn), Spencer Brown, Shelby Boswell (Matt) and Ashley Chamberlain (Coleman); his grandchildren, Maxwell Chamberlain, Macen Chamberlain, Monroe Chamberlain, Maverick Chamberlain and Charlie Boswell; and his siblings, Theodore Brown, Steven Brown, Timothy Brown, Stacy Grover, Pennye Lentes and Cynthia Brown.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for CMT disease in care of the funeral home.
