With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cedric L. Ivey of Louisiana, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jab Henry and Darthy Wilson; his siblings, Jesse Ivey, Murvin Ivey and Fannie Minor; his nieces and nephews, Adrian Broadway, Baby Kevin Ivey, Joseph Ryan Guyton, Michelle Ivey, Yolonda Ivey and Secara Burse; and his great-niece Alexandria Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rubin Ivey Sr., James Ivey Sr. (Arkansas), Barbara Nelson and Darthy Ann Stout (Texas); and his children, Shawanna Hughes (Arkansas), Tawanna Hughes-White (Arkansas), Wenevere Martin (Arkansas), Timothy Lawson (Texas) and Cedric Ivey Hughes (Lisa). He is also survived by grandchildren (16), great-grandchildren (6), nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (121 S 8th St, Louisiana, MO 63353). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
