She is survived by: her former husband Dr. William Ross Best; her children, Ross Best of Missoula, Montana, Neal Weems Best of Great Falls, Eric Stallings Best (Dita) of Prague, Alan Lamar Best (Kimberly) of Eugene, Clare Lois Best Melugin (Trevor) of Missoula and Anne Best Burdick (Max) of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nella Kristina Best, Anetta Clare Best, William Michael Best, Emma Carolyn Best, Cohen Eliot Perry, Michael Wilkins Melugin, Anna Katherine Melugin, William Richard Burdick and Mason Lloyd Burdick; and her sister-in-law Rachel Best of North Carolina. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
