He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Gilmore (Hightower); his children, Carla Jean Findlay (Gilmore), Carl Gilmore Jr, Fairbanks and Freda Ann Smith (Gilmore); his siblings, Richard Gilmore of Buckhorn, NM. and Joanna Etheridge; and his grandchildren, Peter Burdych II, Carl Gilmore, Savanna Smith Armour, Gregory Smith, John Findlay, Ryan Findlay, Mat Findlay of Hannibal, MO and Melanie Cejka.
