He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Elizabeth McCune Cafer; and his siblings, John Edward Cafer, Karen McCune Cafer and Nancy Clo Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Rodgers (Mike Rodgers) of Napoleon, Jim Cafer (Erika Cafer) of Shawnee, KS and John Cafer; his grandsons, Jacob and Jonathan; his daughter Morgan; and his siblings, Ruth Carter (Shane Carter) of Troy and Michael Cafer (Ginger Cafer) of Louisiana.
