He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson and Lena Mae Wright Johnson; and his siblings, Joe Johnson, Van Johnson and Judy Smith.

He is survived by: his son Loren Johnson; and his siblings, Kelly Cisco of Louisiana, MO, Tim Johnson of Louisiana, MO, Glenn Johnson of Quincy, IL and Bob Johnson of Bowling Green, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
