He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schwanke and Betty Schwanke (Chance); his siblings, Craig and Jill Schwanke; and his son Christopher Schwanke.
He is survived by: his significant other Jay Hernandez; his children, Kyle Schwanke (Retha) of Louisburg, MO, Ashley Durfee (Travis) of Watkins Glen, NY, Amanda Giedinghagen (John) of Marshfield, MO and Crystal Davis of Branson, MO; and his grandchildren, Rhiannon Britt (Chris), Isobel Scheffey, Britton Maddux (Evan), Brett Schwanke, David Patterson, Kurtis Schwanke, Benson Patterson, Brooklyn Davis, Conner Schwanke, Isla Durfee, Zoe Giedinghagen, Sasha Durfee, Logan and Lily Giedinghagen. He is also survived by great- grandchildren and many dear friends and family.
