He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Starr and Rose Starr (Stundebeck); and his brother Ted Starr. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Struemph; his children, Douglas Starr (Pamela) of Centertown, Gary Starr (Janie) of Jefferson City, James Starr (Christy) of Boonville and Melissa Kampeter (Bruce) of Westphalia; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Claire, Kate, Hank, Josie, Samuel and Gemma; his sisters, Ellen Beaver (Robert) of Marceline and Ruth Anderson (Larry) of Liberty; and his sister-in-law Barbara Starr of Liberty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek or Msgr.
