She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Schaefer and Amelia Schaefer (Muenks); her husband Raymond J. Kraus; and her brother Edward Schaefer. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Kraus (Becky) of Loose Creek, Charles Kraus (Kathy) of Springfield, James Kraus (Cindy) of Wardsville, Melba Dudenhoeffer (Francis, Jr.) of Linn and Nancy Schaefer (Gene) of Loose Creek; and her sister Catherine Kever of Loose Creek. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
