He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cowsert, Sr. and Ingeborg Cowsert; and his siblings, Charles Cowsert, Jr., Donald Cowsert and Kimberly Cowsert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Cowsert, Jr. (Melissa) of Indiana, Nicholas Cowsert (April Miller) and Heather Weakley (David) of Oklahoma; his siblings, Steve Cowsert (Mindy) of St. Clair, Christine Gibson (Bob) of St. Clair, Mona Marler of St. Clair and Rhonda Nix (Ronnie) of Lonedell; and his grandchildren, Lucian Cowsert, Brock Weakley, Lexi Cowsert and Blake Weakley. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
