He was predeceased by: his parent Gloria Potter (Crites); his grandparents, Joseph and Hazel Crites; and his siblings, David Nolan and Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Tina McClard of Lonedell; his children, Lance Mathis (Sammy) of Villa Ridge, Hannah Goodwin (J. B.) of Lonedell and Emily McClard of Lonedell; his siblings, Sherrill Potter (Jamie) of Arkansas and Jeannie Lawrence (Tim) of Arkansas; his sisters-in-law, Joan Friend, Charlene Clinton and Patricia Houston of Lonedell; his grandchildren, L. J. Mathis, Madison Mathis, Joslynn Drennen, Charlotte Mathis and Finn O'Neal; and his close friend Gary "Lassie" Lasater. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews; cousins, and friends.
