He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Chesnut (Dean); his children, Douglas Chesnut of Odessa, MO, Rhonda Wakeman (Michael) of Holden, MO, Michele Shackelford (Brad George) of Warrensburg, MO and Samantha Chesnut of Lone Jack, MO; his sisters, Connie Gorrell (Martin) of Decatur, IL and Becky Fehrenbacher of Decatur, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew Wakeman, Kristen Cox, Cole Shackelford, Morgan Shackleford, Abigale Chesnut, Elizabeth Wakeman and Rylee George; and his great grandchildren, Adlee Cox, Brysen Cox and Anabel Cox.
