We bid farewell to Fredrick Barton Matthias of Lohman, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 74. Fredrick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Fredrick Matthias and Rita Ruby Craig; his aunt Minnie; and his uncle Orville Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Sawyer; his children, Amy Sisson (Stuart) of Osage Beach, Michael "Mike" Matthias (Maribeth) of Eldon and Jennifer Wheat (Jimmy) of Eldon; his sister Cheri Roberts (Ray) of Texas; his grandchildren, Corey Matthias (Katrina), Kassandra Quick (Sebastian), Conner Matthias (Meghan) and Cordelia Sisson; and his great grandchildren, Maverick and Jason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes-Eldon (902 E North St, Eldon, MO 65026). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Fred's memory to a charity of your choice, continuing his spirit of giving.
