He is survived by: his wife Karen Hackney; his daughter Kelley Hackney of Clever, MO; his brother Jim Hackney (Leigh Ann) of Carl Junction, MO; his granddaughter Sonja Isabelle; his nephews, Walker Hackney (Jennifer) of Bradenton, FL and Jordan Hackney (Stephine) of Peach Tree, GA; his brother-in-law Sherrell Cassity (Glenda) of Exeter, MO; and also, Darlene Cassity of Springfield, MO and Alison Cassity DeMull (Shawn) of San Antonio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Association.
