He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell and Alma Woods (Greer); his wife Elsie Louise Woods; and his siblings, Hershel Woods, Robert Woods, Leon Woods, Zella Marie Woods, Helen Loreta Hall and Viola Faye Pierce.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin Woods, Myrtle Guinn and Gladys Nadine Woods. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
