He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Groves and Mary Groves (Cokerham); and his brother-in-law Wesley Almond. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gudgell of Meadville; his children, Casandria Derks (Chris) of King City, Jacob Groves (Taryn) of Tampa and Peter Groves (Misty) of Cascade, Montana; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Samuel, Gabriel Derks, Ella, Abigail, Caroline Groves, Elijah Cristan, Lily, Laurel, Noel, Ezra, Isaiah and Benjamin Groves; and his siblings, Martha Ann Gaug (Elmer) of Meadville, Esther Almond of Brookfield, Naomi Zawicki of Altus, Oklahoma and John Groves (Teresa) of Laclede. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
