She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard E. Powell and Frances E. Powell (Long); her husband Kenneth R. Murrell; her son-in-law Roger Schappaugh; her sisters, Mary Ellen Brown (Raymond), Hazel M. Garrett (Lloyd) and Della F. Hale (Kenneth); her niece Barbara Brown; her nephew Steven Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lorene Jackson (L. L. Jackson), Victor Murrell (LaVerne) and Raymond Murrell (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Betty Schappaugh of Palmyra and John B. Murrell (Susie) of Linneus; her grandsons, Troy R. Murrell of Wentworth and Bruce A. Murrell (Angie) of Linneus; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Murrell of Linneus and Ty Murrell (Lacey Moore); her stepgrandson Scott Schappaugh (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Willie Boley and Emily Radcliff; her child Long; and also, Ruger Murrell of Brookfield and Sophia of Hannibal. She is also survived by grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (1201 W Helm St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
