He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Kixmiller and Bertha Kixmiller (Frank); his granddaughters, Sabrina and Catherine Thompson; his great grandchildren, Isaac and Isaiah Kixmiller; and his siblings, Karen Starke, Marilyn Blackburn and Gary Kixmiller.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Bernskoetter; his children, Dana Kixmiller of Linn and Timothy Kixmiller of Republic; his grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha, Kaitlyn and Ty Kixmiller (Monica); his great grandchildren, Madison, Izabella, Lily and Tucker Kixmiller; and his siblings, Carl Kixmiller (Carol) of Linn, Alverda Oppermann and Marcella Heath. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Little Sisters of the Poor.
