He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Bower and Seline Bower (Henslee); and his son-in-law Michael Southerlin. He is survived by: his wife Iva Withers (Withers); his children, Tracie Southerlin of Linn, Timothy Bower (Suann) of Linn and Richard E. Bower, III (Helen) of Westphalia; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Rosemarie Maroney of Ottawa, Jessica, David Spencer of Raleigh, Michael Bower of Springfield, Melanie, Jacob Bayless of Jefferson City, Emma and Addison Bower of Westphalia; and his great grandchildren, Dominic Maroney, Andrew, Avery Spencer and Weston Bayless.
