She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald "Toots" Niederhelm and Alvina "Tiny" Niederhelm (Lampkin); her daughter Heather Branson; and her daughter-in-law Amy Branson. She is survived by: her husband David Branson; her children, Matt Branson of Jefferson City and Amber Heywood of Linn; her siblings, Mark Niederhelm (Bonnie) of Rhineland, Debbie McGowen (Gary) of Jefferson City and Lisa Baker of Jefferson City; and her grandchildren, Samantha Blaylock (Travis), Taliaa Pendergrass (Aaron), Mackenzie "Mack" Branson, Ricky Smithson, Sierra Branson, Haley Branson, Destiny Perrey, Keagan Heywood, Gabriel Branson, Carson Shockley, Lilly Danson and Heather Branson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
