He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin "Matt" and Bernadine Brandt (Bock); his wife Mary Antonia Muenks; his brothers, Norbert Brandt and Roman Brandt; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Bax and Mary Ellen Brandt.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Brandt (Lura) of Parkville, MO, Scott Brandt of Leawood, KS, Connie Wilkinson (Dale) of Parkville, MO and Laurie Walker (Mike) of Greenwood, MO; his sisters, Hildegard Bax of Koeltztown and Regina Brandt of San Antonio, TX; his sister-in-law Lorene Brandt; his grandchildren, Sam Brandt, Amy King (Adam), Elizabeth Hechler (Paul), Phillip Wilkinson, Allan Wilkinson, Kyle Walker and Brooke Walker; and his great grandchildren, Anna King and Genevieve Hechler.
