He is survived by: his mother Rosalie "Rose" Balkenbusch (Keilholz); his wife Carol Balkenbusch; his children, Kim Grega (Jim Meyer) of Columbia, Jeff Balkenbusch (Janna) of O'Fallon, Matt Balkenbusch (Nicole) of Seattle, WA and Anne Portell (Dustin) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Andrew, Evan, Brady, William, Claire, Ila, Arya, Lyanna and Eleanor; and his siblings, Gary Balkenbusch (Nancy) of St. Louis, Mary Joyce Stevenson (Gary) of Osage Beach, Lori Balkenbusch of St. Charles, Sharon O'Sullivan (Mike) of Jefferson City and Lisa Tihen (Scott) of St. Peters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
