It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thoenen (Linn, Missouri), born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Ed" and Betty "Bets" Thoenen (Schaefer); his brother Jerry Thoenen; his nephew Chad Thoenen; and his niece Melissa Block.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Thoenen (Dudenhoeffer); his children, David Thoenen (Emily) of Krakow, James Denny (Abby) of Cushing, OK and Carissa Duewell (Colin) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Kyle, Claire Duewell, Isabella, Kierstin VonBehren, Broderick and Jayce Thoenen; his siblings, Jim Thoenen (Merilee) of Linn, Joe Thoenen (Donna) of Linn, Jeff Thoenen (Peggy) of Willard, Ed Thoenen (Stacy) of Linn, Peggy Hemeyer (John) of Frankford, Ruth Block (Dennis) of Loose Creek, Rose Thoenen of Loose Creek and Jean Hall of Jefferson City; and his sister-in-law Betty Thoenen of Frankenstein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
